Kinja Khola Hydropower Project Development Status Report

Installed Capacity: 4.6 MW
Development Milestones Achieved
- Survey License Obtained for the initial 3 MW capacity project.
- Installed Capacity Upgraded from 3 MW to 4.6 MW after technical assessment.
- Project Boundary Amendment completed to accommodate the upgraded capacity.
- Detailed Feasibility Study (DFS) successfully completed.
- Financial Letter of Intent (LOI) obtained from NRB Bank Limited.
- Power Output Secured – generation capacity has been locked with Nepal Electricity Authority.
- Grid Connection Agreement (GCA) successfully executed with Nepal Electricity Authority.
- Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) Terms of Reference (ToR) approved.
- Land Acquisition Process currently in progress for key project components.
- Daily Hydrological Measurements ongoing at the project site.
- Monthly Hydrological Monitoring being conducted by the appointed consultant.
- Joint Field Visits completed with consultants and project developers.
- Community Engagement and regular interaction with the local community and stakeholders continues.

- Completion and approval of IEE study

- Financial closure with partner bank
